This classic Maine summer cottage sits right on the beach, offering front-row views of the outer islands, Somes Sound and the mountains of Acadia. Step outside to your own shoreline, perfect for morning coffee or sunset views.
Just a short walk along the beach brings you to the award-winning Claremont Hotel, where you’ll find indoor and outdoor dining. The cottage is also close to local favorites like Beal’s Lobster Pier, the Marina and is just a mile walk to town. In town, explore the shops and eateries or hop on the free Island Explorer Bus to see more of MDI and Acadia National Park.
FIRST LEVEL: The main floor welcomes you with an open, sun-filled layout and sweeping ocean views from nearly every room. The airy living and dining area features seating for 6–8, vaulted ceilings, skylights and a stunning granite fireplace—perfect for cozy evenings after a day of adventures. A well-equipped kitchen provides everything you need for lobster dinners and morning coffee alike.
On one side of the home, a private king bedroom suite includes an en suite full bath. A second bedroom with a full bed is adjacent. On the opposite side of the living area, a third bedroom offers a queen bed and access to a full bath with a shower (no tub).
SECOND LEVEL: A spiral staircase leads to a charming upper-level bedroom with a king bed (convertible to two twins with advance notice)—an ideal space for guests or kids.
