Description

This four-generation family compound is privately nestled in the woods, along the shores of Pretty Marsh Harbor. The “McGiffert House” is the perfect rental for larger parties as there are two properties in total to consider. The main house will easily accommodate 8 guests and the guest house “McGiffert Cabin" offers added space for an additional 10 guests. There is a shared dock / float, an accessible shoreline and the added fun of a fire ring. The two properties are linked by a meandering path through the woods. The McGiffert House is centrally located to all that Mount Desert Island & Acadia National Park has to offer for a wonderful Maine vacation.

Layout

LAYOUT: Well equipped eat-in kitchen with dining area and access to the brick patio where there is a gas grill, small dining table and plenty of chairs. Spacious living room with wood burning fireplace, water views and another access point to the patio & backyard.
Bedroom with king bed and water views. Shared, full bath (tub & shower) located off the hallway. Bedroom with a twin bed.
SECOND LEVEL: At the top of the stairs you will find another full bath with tub and shower and two more bedrooms. To the right is a bedroom with a double bed & a twin bed, and to the left is a bedroom with a queen bed.
OTHER: Basement with washer and dryer **Only accessible from outside via bilco doors.
