Charming cedar shingled cottage with attached one car garage and frontage on Duck Cove. The cottage is in a peaceful residential area. There is a large field that slopes down to the shore, where one can poke around at low tide or launch kayaks from the granite ledge to explore the cove. NOTE:One must pay attention to the tides. Lazy Duck Cottage is a great place to relax after a long day of activities or sightseeing all over MDI and throughout Acadia National Park.
FIRST LEVEL: Enter via the side door of the garage to steps that will take you into the house. Once inside you will find a living/dining room combo that boasts wide board wooden flooring and exposed beam ceilings. The dining area offers a large light filled window that takes advantage of the view. Access to the stone patio. Den/office area. Well equipped kitchen. Just off the kitchen hall is a full bath with granite vanity. Two bedrooms each with a queen size bed. There is also a 1/2 bath just before you enter the house from landing in the garage. SECOND LEVEL: A large media/game room with great views of the waterfront, futon, table and chairs will add to the enjoyment of your stay.
