Check in 4pm The seasonal float will only be available for use June - August. Wood stoves are not for tenant use in the main house or the guest cottage. Addition of the guest cottage for 2 guest max: 6/22 - 8/31 $1000 per week, 8/31 - 10/26 $750 per week. The guest house will only be rented in addition to the main house, however, friends or family may be in residence at any given time.

One can enjoy morning coffee from the screened in porch or the spacious ocean facing deck. New for 2024 is a seasonal float that will be available for use June - August. Located on the on the Quietside of MDI, "Dix Point Shores" is the perfect home away from home when not out and about exploring Acadia National Park. NEW for 2024 is the addition of the guest cottage for two more guests and additional fee.
Great room consisting of a fully stocked kitchen with bar and seating for two. Light filled living room. Large dining room. Located just off the dining room there is a screened in porch with access to the deck. Full bath. Laundry room. Master bedroom with a king bed, office nook and an ensuite bathroom with a double vanity and a large tiled shower (no tub, removed '23). Bedroom at the end of the hallway with two twin beds.
OTHER - EFFICIENCY GUEST COTTAGE: Charming little guest cottage with pine interior and cathedral ceilings. One will find a great room with sitting area, dining area and kitchen with small 4 burner gas stove, dorm size refrigerator and microwave. There is also a toaster and a small coffee pot. There is a full bath with claw foot tub and shower. Bedroom with a double size bed and a rocking chair. NOTE: There is no tv in the guest cottage, the wood stove is not for tenant use. There is a rinnai propane heater located in the bedroom.
